Anderson argues that when lawmakers are rolling back protective measures implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic, they should not roll back the ones that have been most effective — namely, increased access to healthcare via pharmacies and pharmacy teams. Anderson maintains that pharmacies are critical infrastructure, and that allowing the expiration of privileges extended to pharmacists during the pandemic could have serious repercussions on patient access to healthcare.
